The Brief

Each year the Hotel Condesa DF & the “Corredor Cultural Roma – Condesa" invite a group of designers to intervene and modify some of its guest rooms to show the particular vision of each studio, their process and style to fit into a room that it is visited by the community for only 3 days. Part of the challenge is to create a scenario that follows the principles of each studio doing the most with the less.

The Approach

Hotel rooms are the place you choose to be your home outside your home, it has to be inviting and also homelike without forgetting that it is the beginning of the whole experience of visiting a new place, this feeling of familiarity with newness is the spirit we chose to experiment by realigning the room to feel a place that invited you to explore and feel that you were outside even in the inside.

The Solution

We created the entire set of furniture and decoration of the room to be minimal but not simplistic, each one of the objects that create the room are designed to work together, playing with textures, lighting and colors that enhance the experience of feeling coziness and freedom.
